I am God!

I see it perfectly clearly. Consider the laws of physics. Everything in the universe holds to them. I certainly do. BUT! What defines the laws of physics? It is clearly what I do that defines them. It is what everything does but me included. So then I am God! So is everyone else of course but really its ME! I've put this into words before but I've never actually felt it until now. I was reading about how I am nothing and how the karmic laws just act through me. This is also undoubtedly true. It really means the same thing. They sound like total opposites but they are both totally true! This is the purpose of the koans such as "What is the Buddha? Three chin of flax." These opposites. Rabbi Heschel says that god is in man and that man comes from dust. It establishes the same paradox as the koan. When one closely examines things they are both entirely true. My actions are clearly based on the laws of physics, but also I clearly act. So my actions are essentially the actions of god. My actions define the laws of physics, just as the laws of physics define me. This is the man as god side. But at the same time so what? Even the dust swirls in the wind. Even the dust defines the laws of physics. Even the dust is God! I do not intend to sound egocentric in the least. There is no I that is separate from the laws. I IS the laws. There is nothing left to be egocentric. It's just that the laws are I too.

You might find interesting Blavatsky's texts: http://www.theosociety.org/pasadena/key/key-hp.htm For example sections 5 and 6. The text is a bit old and produced for the 19th century purposes but the message is still valid...

I'm not that other anonymous poster, but I know you are not God because I know who God is, and I know God would like to have more of your attention. Much more. All of it wouldn't be too much.

I see what you mean, because you can define the laws of physic and the universe you believe you are god. But maybe god isnt the right word for you.
the definition of god
1. God
1. A being conceived as the perfect, omnipotent, omniscient originator and ruler of the universe, the principal object of faith and worship in monotheistic religions.

nope

2. A being of supernatural powers or attributes, believed in and worshiped by a people, especially a male deity thought to control some part of nature or reality.

nope

3. An image of a supernatural being; an idol.

nope

4. One that is worshiped, idealized, or followed: Money was their god.
5. A very handsome man.
6. A powerful ruler or despot.

sorry chances are that you aren't god. Maybe your part of this world that god has created, and therefore almost part of god.

I would argue that I am the first part of your first definition. That said, dictionaries, don't define language, language defines dictionaries, so I think it may be the fault of the dictionary that it would have it that I am not god. I mean god in a very eastern sense of the word, very much like the Tao.

I have run across this same line of thought before...Mine is as follows:

I think therefor I am.

I am therefor I think.

I think I am God.

I am God.

I am God because without me, I could not perceive, nor think.

I am God therefor I am perfect.

Just the first part of that line of thought...It is a tad long, leads into a religion of whorshipping yourself.

It seems to me that being a discrete ego-entity apart from God would not be possible -- except in the fantasy of the ego, which creates all manner of pain and drama to maintain a semblance of separation. Jo-Ann Langseth

do you speak firsthand for god? my interpretation of what mime narrator said is that god is everything and therefore he since he acts to natures defined by god that he is infact a peice of him- He also mentions that we all are god in a sense.
